Wear a bit of the wild by running with the wolves. Dress up or down with these neutral & versatile copper enamel disc earrings. A beautiful mixture of flame-painted copper, white vitreous enamel, and blackened 935 sterling silver "running wolves".
- Color: White enamel on slightly domed 1-1/8" copper disc; flame painted above, blackened sterling wire represents "wolf tracks" in the snow.
- Size: 1-3/4 inches from top of ear wire to bottom of the dangle; disc is 1-1/8" diameter. Refer to the photo showing size in relation to a dime.
- French-style ear wires are hand made from Argentium 935 Sterling Silver wire which is hypoallergenic, nickel free, and tarnish resistant.
- Fairly lightweight, each earring weighing a little more than a penny (US coin).
- Reversible: the back side shows ball-ends of sterling silver wire. See sixth photo.
- Each pair of earrings may have ever so slight differences ~ they're hand made from scratch ♥.
The inspiration for this copper enamel earrings is from one of my favorite photographs, “The Chase: Wolves in Yellowstone” by Lisa Aikenhead. This is my interpretation as wearable art.
Vitreous enamel is melted glass ~ it's not paint. Please care for enameled jewelry as you would any fine art glass.
