Miniature impressionistic floral landscape with a touch of abstract. This small ornamental plaquette is hand painted with vitreous enamel (melted glass) on copper.
Some people define art as having no function other than to be appreciated primarily for its beauty or emotional power.
Display this miniature art on the included tiny wooden easel; or have it framed to hang on your wall, if desired.
- Size: 4 inches wide by 3 inches tall. Refer to photos showing size related to a quarter, nickel, dime, and teacup.
- Color: Primarily shades of periwinkle blueish-purple/purplish-blue representing flowers, with multi-colored green stems on soft background of pale green & lavender.
- Colors on your screen might look different!! The placquette in the first, second, and fourth photos appears bluer on my screen than what it is in real life. The third photo is color-corrected to look more accurate - at least on MY screen.
- Hand painted lead-free vitreous enamel on copper, kiln-fired 10-15 times. Back side counter-enameled in dark brown.
- Vitreous enamel is melted glass ~ it's not paint. Please care for enameled décor as you would any fine art glass.
- Vase, periwinkles, teacup & saucer, and coins not included in sale. Yes, the small wooden easel is included in sale.
