Kaleidoscopes are so much fun, I decided to make an "unbreakable" one for children to play with. This is a kit that can be assembled. Perfect stocking stuffer, this kaleidoscope kit is ideal as a child's educational tool, for teachers to share with their classroom, as birthday party giveaways, scout troops, or perhaps to awaken your own inner child. Easy assembly, instructions with diagrams are included.
!!! CAUTION: This kit contains small parts which may be hazardous to small children who might place parts in their mouth. Please use with caution around small children. Appropriate for Ages 6 to 100+. The kit contains everything you need to construct the kaleidoscope, except for some type of tape, like scotch tape or masking tape.
- What is it?: An un-assembled kaleidoscope kit with detailed instructions for assembly.
- Material: PVC, plastic, front surface acrylic mirror - all cut to fit when assembled.
- Size: 9-1/2 inches after assembly
- Photos: First photo shows assembled kit with suggestion for covering the outside (I used marble-colored contact paper).
- Object Chamber - where the "jewels" go. Use beads, flower petals, pieces of colored paper, rhinestones, sequins, shells, etc.
- Decorate outside with: contact paper, colorful stickers, paint, flower petals taped on with clear packing tape, etc.
- Fourth and seventh photos show actual images when viewed through the kaleidoscope. The multi-color plastic beads are included in the kit.
- Shipped in a padded envelope.
Note: Kit may be assembled and disassembled multiple times. If you plan to disassemble it, use a less sticky adhesive tape when taping the mirrors together - not duct tape as I suggest in the instructions.
